Some more refs that have been uploaded separately to TH, sometimes I just have the urge of drawing some of these guys inbetween the canon/semi canon designs.

Roho is the boy I mentioned a while back in a status update, he used to be Kula and Chumvi's dad but... let's be honest he doesn't look like either of them, so I chose someone else to fill that role. I really like this design, especially after redrawing him... problem is that he looks too much like Kovu to not be related to him, sooo now he's the youngest KxK child! The baby bro, the spoiled baby, big goofy bean.
Only update I gave him is the bangs, I made them a bit more poofy with a bit of flare.

Uru on the other hand badly needed an art update, she was the 3rd or so ref I ever made but I never gave her another because I was fine with her design. While drawing her I ended up doing some changes regardless, just some minor shifts in color. Very happy with her <3

Last is Uzuri, Uru's mom, I'll admit, she probably didn't need much of an update, but I did end up changing the color of her head stripe cuz it was the same as her mane and she looked too monochrome. I used to have an aversion to excessive color usage in a character's palette, and it resulted in me not using enough colors in some of my earlier OCs. Other than that she's pretty much the same, big strong lady.

I still have a bit of backlog built up, but I really haven't been drawing much, my new PC has finally arrived but that means I need to finish emptying my old one and setting it up completely, switching from a old office laptop to a tower pc means a lot of moving stuff around my desk... so yeah won't be able to really do much for a while longer.
