Description
I was away on vacation with my dad for a week, which gave me a chance to do some traditional sketches, colored them in the past two days.

1. "Sipho... will you be my princen?"
The day Sundara proposed to Sipho! While their marriage was technically a betrothal/political the two had very much fallen in love with each other; they have a very playful relationship. I don't have much more to say about it since I already wrote at length about it on their refs.
Both of them are around the age Kovu was in TLK2, Sipho's mane is smaller and patchier due to them being intersex, it grew in more slowly and never fully.

2. The charm of a brute
Jahanamu was a beast, a tyrant even, most of his "mates" despised him and gladly stepped aside when he'd move on to someone else... some of them however, very much liked the brutish charm of the King. Dhaifu was definitely on that side of the spectrum; born under his rule she didn't harbor the kind of vitriol most of the older lionesses had, and when he set his sights on her, she was pretty charmed by him. From his part Jahanamu wasn't above being "romantic" in his own way if the lioness he was aiming for didn't clearly hate his guts; he and Dhaifu had plenty of quiet moments together, even when his idea of being romantic was tearing the heart out of a prey and giving it to her.
Her mother was not happy about the situation, while her father (being one of the Jahanamu's henchmen) was quite proud that his daughter got the King's attention.

More Sunlands shenanigans! First a more "recent" generation, and second one of the oldest, Choyo's parents. I've been meaning to draw that second picture almost since I first made these characters, Jahanamu is an absolute monster of a character but I do like the idea of him being somewhat romantic XD.
The lines of both these drawings were made in pen on paper, I just touched them up here and there, this was very much supposed to be a sketch but the shading kinda got out of hand.
