I updated Foosie's design alongside a few other neglected OCs, but left her uncoloured. But like yesterday, someone on Twitter did a "draw your mutuals' OCs" post, I submitted Foosie, and they were interested so I coloured in that doodle and now she has a properly updated appearance. I took the opportunity to make some more tweaks; the white ear tips didn't really work in practice, and with her bracelets added, the white hands didn't really work either, so she ended up a bit closer to her original look than I expected.

Speaking of her original look, I finally fixed up her wings and tail. It turned out that making her wings stand out MORE from her coat was what they needed! And now her tail is still slightly mismatched from the rest of her, but it's ~EXTRA floofy~ (and also when she hugs it, it will stand out better from her chest and hands, which it didn't when I tried a light colour for the tip). And speaking of the chest, the big white patch only matches the patch on the bridge of her nose now that I've removed the ones on the ears and hands; on the one hand, it's slightly out-of-place and draws more attention to her boobs than I'd really want, but on the other hand, I wanted some kind of body marking to make her torso less uniform, and more importantly it's ~ℍ𝔼ℂ𝕂𝕀ℕ𝔾 ℂ𝕌𝕋𝔼~, so I'm probably keeping it.

In any case, I decided a while back that y'know what, Yira's great and all, but I can't kid myself: Foosie is best girl. I'm sorry, I don't make the rules. She's comfortably my favourite OC, with Harper probably in second and Yira probably in third. And all three of them I feel I don't draw them enough, surprise surprise.
