Did the mouse get peckish?
I really like the muted colour palette - not sure about the green, though ... On the one hand it stands out well, on the other I wonder if it could've been toned down slightly. Unless you wanted it to stand out - in which case shut me the hell up! 
Other than that I love the soft blending and the subtle foliage in the background. The animals look incredibly cute, too - which I'm sure everyone else has already said

Why yes, rather.
I have mixed feelings about that green, too. It was the last thing I added, and I kind of like it since it brings the blue and yellow together, and dispels the "overall brown" impression. I'll try to tone it down in Photoshop, see how it looks if you say it bothers you.

I don't mean it "bothers" me, just that I couldn't get my head around it ... Yet. I was undecided.
As I said, I know what you were aiming to do with it. Maybe put a bit more of the blue into it - or would that go too turquoise?

hey, will you be upset with me daca ti-as spune ca seamana destul de mult cu desenele facute de `ursulav ? it's because of those small animals and the watercolors, they just remind me of her a lot. i know that she's an artist you respect and look up to (i find her simple technique very appealing as well) and i'm not saying it's a bad thing sa te inspiri din ce deseneaza ea. i actually like it and i know i wouldn't have the guts to do that, for fear that i might fail miserably
still, this is a nice panting and it's a welcome change from your usual works, certainly a whole lot happier theme too
by the way, i'm glad you submit new stuff again and that you've re-enabled comments on them. it makes your gallery friendlier

Well, it's not rude, pana la urma toata lumea are influente si pe unele nici nu le constientizezi. It's just that people don't generally react well when this is pointed out, for various reasons
Parerea mea personala: eu inteleg ca se intampla sa imi semene cate un desen cu stilul lui X sau Y, ii ok si normal. Ma deranjeaza numai implicatia asta subtila ca "you did it on purpose to imitate them". I didn't! Daca ma inspir sau fac un fel de "tribute", sau chiar mi se contamineaza ideile intamplator, I always mention it (like here: [link] [link] ). If I don't mention it, inseamna ca asemanarea ii intamplatoare.
