A few exemples of the past two months practicing I've been into.

I stumbled upon a nice book about drawing and painting during a visit at related's home, that showed nice exemples and exercices for portraits and bodies.

From top left to bottom right :
-Two pages of nose practice. Oh poor innocent myself who didn't realize how noses can be a struggle because of their complex form and the importance of shades and shadows ! But I think those ones look quite good... Do they ?
-I feel like mouths are not that difficult, once you get the "thing"... Well, until you try to draw them from sideviews or complex perspectives
-Yeah, this one is just me trying to understand how to give some expression and emotion to cartoon eyes... Don't pay much attention to those craps please, just look at the few "semi-realistic" eyes on the bottom ^^
-I spent a lot of time practicing eyes since, as we all know, they're very expressive elements in a portrait and also not that easy to draw. There are a lot of scrappy sketches before this one, but once I ended up with this page, I felt like I began to get something quite nice.
-I feel proud of this little piece of sh** since it's the first time ever I drew a hand that actually looks a little like a hand...

Still practicing, and I hope I will have some nice finished works to show soon, whether about fanfictions or not, we'll see
