A journey into nature and a journey into Self. This tribal warrior has embarked on a path seeking wisdom from the other side, a numinous realm traditionally accessed through shamanistic trance, meditation, and adventure into a sacred unknown.

In this painting I have explored new creative ideas by focusing on storytelling and experimenting more freely with composition. Reconnecting to the basic elements and principles of design has made this a fun and relatively fast painting.
