Image / text below 2006I entered this drawing with no preconception of what to create, and took purely an exploratory attitude. Through this process, new forms and textures emerged that I would not have preconceived before. This is one of a series of exploratory drawings, in which I am trying to expand my visual vocabulary. Ultimately I plan on using the new visuals I discover to create a "culmination" kind of drawing that uses these newfound symbols, forms, and textures to communicate an intended message.

Wow thank you. I hope to keep pressing on and evolving. I also try to only post my better work, and now throw every sketch and doodle I do up on the site. Although I end up posting less, I am happier with my overall gallery. But who knows, maybe I'll get bolder and just post everything.

I saw this in the exhibition and my eyes did what that dude's eyes in the drawing are doing...relatively speaking.

That is a good idea. A collection of the visions and archetypes that reside in your mind culminating in a single image of communicaiton. I have considered doing something similar one day. Good luck and I hope it is a rewarding experience for you.
