I like this painting for two distinct reasons:

1) it conveys a variety of complex emotions in Flo and your relationships with her. It's amazing to me how so many portraits, realy don't do this. Rather, they are studies of form... of genre. The character of the subject becomes secondary to the "look."

2) I love seeing you move outside your comfort zone, and experimenting in new realms. This is generally inspiring, and is bound to lead to interesting growth.
