Here is an easy way to understand the complex structure of the human skull.

🦴 When drawing the skull divide it into sections in accordance to their functionality. Once you established the cranium which holds the brain, add the maxilla or upper jaw, and the zygomatic bone, which helps shaping the eye socket. The lower jaw or mandible is the only part that is not fused with the rest of the skull.
