3 steps to help you improve your hand drawings:

1) draw an envelope, that already creates the feel of what you want the hand to look like. There will be more on this in the future if you like.

2) use simple shapes to show volume and make it feel three-dimensional.

3) Add details and draw the final piece. Depending on which style you want to go for, you can put emphasis on detail or keep it simplified to increase readability. I always like to stay on the simplified side and only season my drawings with a few additional details to add a little flavor.

At the very bottom left you see how you can draw fingers by focusing on the tube shapes of the sections first and then adding the knuckles in a second pass. You requested a hand tutorial and I did one but I wasn't satisfied. So here you find another one which hopefully proves to be more useful!
