This tutorial is dedicated to

1) Draw a jelly. Take your time for the drawing and come up with something cute.

2) Use the lasso tool and fill a layer that's underneath your line drawing. Then alpha lock it again and add some soft washes of color. Note how he lower half is a little bit brighter.

3) Create a layer at the very top and paint the reflection in white. Use the opacity slider and set it to 30-40% opacity.

4) Do the same thing again on the side. This time use a bright blue. Now we will have a nice light hitting our jelly from the right.

5) Add some dark brush strokes around the highlights and at the bottom. This will create a nice contrast and make the jelly look translucent.

6) Start painting the details. Having everything set up you can use the color-picker and your favorite brush in order to create some nice details. I also added the white highlights in this step.

7) Create your background. I also added a purple outer glow effect and painted on top.

8) Final touch-ups with glowing highlights and stars. here you can use the color dodge to push the saturation a bit further.
