I dreamt that I was perched atop a throne of human skulls
On a cliff above the ocean, howling wind and shrieking seagulls...

This is the most self-indulgent thing I've drawn in a good while. I fully acknowledge that it looks messy and sort of half-baked but listen, I've had this image in my head for like, a good 8-10 months just gestating; if I hadn't been listening to the Mountain Goats after drinking two top-shelf margaritas it may not have ever seen the light of day.

This isn't meant to be a vent. I didn't intend it to be scary or sad or anything it just. Kind of exists now. Sort of like the way this line in this song exists; for some reason this line always grabbed me, just such a strange but intriguing divergence from the subject. It speaks to me for reasons I don't understand and I feel like it might stand for or symbolize something but if it does I don't want to know. I just want to let it exist for its own sake and be marveled by it
