Last apple of the year.ΒThought I would try for a kind of autumn piece. Showing off the end of the harvest. Turned into an apple admiring piece, but still fun.Β
Spent a ton of time on this, and I hope you all enjoy it!

There are so many feels in this painting, yet it's so simple.

Amayzing piece of work, however if there is a flaw, I would say that AJ left hind-leg, and maybe left foreleg are way out of the proportion (to big when compared to right legs), but this is all I can criticize on, the rest look great.

I love the textures and shading on the apple. Β Reminds me of the illustrations I'd seen in some very old picture book/primary reader my great-grandparents gave to me when I was a child. Β Sadly it was so old it fell apart. Β I would mainly look at the illustrations than read the text.
There was really no plot to the story. Β It was an ABC book dealing with apple pie, with each letter being a verb and little children shown performing that action relating to the pie.

I really like the angle you used for this piece. It really put in value the title of your work. Great composition. Yeah. You work all year for the harvest and when it ends... it brings some melancholia. You are happy that it done, but sad that it ends. At least you have apples for a while. Same IRL.

Wow, this looks absolutely fantastic! The idea as well as detail and texture is incredible! I can't say I know much about art, but the use of focus (on the apple) is magnificent and the lighting is wonderful. The leaves and especially the apple really give the drawing the Autumn feel that you wanted. Great work, it's soooooo gooooood!!
