I love this sparse style. It's so beautiful and simple.

Thankyou very much; my style has gone through a few changes this year. I still love to do very detailed work, but I also like simplistic work too (ooo gawd, a bit of a difference!

A really great concept, and despite the weirdness (I mean that in a good way, mind you ), it's also a really cute image. I really love how these titans seem 'alien' and totally removed from humans, the parent/child relationship has been carried off perfectly. Well done -- I really like your style

9 times out of 10, weird is good...though we do have to worry about that extra 1. Thankyou! I just wanted to show the idea that even things that are very different and scary in our minds can also be similar and gentle...aaawww. *sounds all soppy*
Cheers!

Aww this is so sweet! It's kinda haunting though, because they look a little sinister, but it contrasts with the obvious tenderness they're showing for their bub.
A wonderful piece or art, and another fave.

*Grins* Thankyou! See, even big monsters have a tender side to them - there's got to be baby monsters somewhere!

Aww! Its so nice to know that big scary things can share joyous moments with their loved ones as well. It... well, it makes me feel a bit better about this world...

Really nice. Like how the kid is so into the snow, leaning forward trying to get a closer look. Or has it spotted Flea?!
Like Mablox said, hope you did white on black!!!!

greyflea In reply to candeku [2005-07-18 10:47:59 +0000 UTC]
Ah, you spotted Flea! (first person to mention that!) Yes, I think it's a mixture of the kid wanting to walk off faster, and get a closer look at Flea. Yes, white on black - much easier! Thanks Yit!

I've got a problem deciding whether it is creepy or cute... Both I guess.
And it is oh so playful, imaginative, lovely and enchanting...
If this is not worth clicking the +fav button, I wonder what is...
Yum yum sweet!

Ah, thankyou very much for saying so - I like it to be a mixture! I always remember as a kid loving stuff that was cute, but having a slightly nasty element to it.

those tentacley things really freeeeeeaak me out! haha why do you do it?! WAHHHAAAAY???
i think it could be a flyer for a dance being held cos they look quite funky - like they are stepping back in time or summat

greyflea In reply to moose562 [2005-07-17 17:43:15 +0000 UTC]
I'd imagine they'd do a really lazy, slow dance. But I love drawing the tentacles! ;D

Looks cool, I like the way those creatures just tower over everything. Though they'd be much taller if they straightened their backs, didnt anyone ever tell them to bend from the knees?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
greyflea In reply to DeepOne [2005-07-17 17:05:43 +0000 UTC]
Oh it'd be absolutely impossible for the to straighten up - they have no backbone, so they'd just flop over again! Thanks!

REALLY cute I love the pose of the baby, it's got a srt of wary step to it, not quite balanced and sure - which is why the parents are there! I take it that's the mum on the left?
I gots to fav+!

Oi! someone else is doing b/w in the snow...'deepens voice' 'oi, your'e copyin' me y'know' This is bloody fantastic, love the form of the beings, nice kinda gait to them, and again with the tentacles, they work so well when put in the right places. But did you draw in black around every blob of snow? You must've done white on black, otherwise your'e nuts!
