Here's the final product (I think)*edit* apparently I'm gonna have to find a better title for this..again. :-s
Colored in Paint Shop Pro.
*edit 2/16/08, made some revision on the mouth area, it was bothering me.

The detailed shading and such is just marvelous. And the soft edges add a fun, fluffy realism to this piece of work. I love it!

beautifull ...take no notice, ive a lurcher ,whose beardie deerhound cross .he has long hair .......they are the most wonderfull dogs ive ever met ...its all down to wether the coat can stand up to living outside which a soft coat probably couldnt ,all down to personal preference i guess.

Thanks...I was under the impression Lurchers were sighthound crossbreeds which includes long haired types.
I just did some googling to make sure and it looks like this could be considered a Lurcher.

Yes, but long-haired, soft coats or heavy feathing is extremly frowned upon by Lurcher breeders/owners. Short, broken and wire coats are by far the most common and prized types. You occationally get Borzoi Lurchers who have coats of this type, but other than that, very, very rarely.
