Yep been there. Save my laptop does this annoying screen freeze on me that either kills me or runs me into water or off a cliff. Also likes to do it to me at the worst times while in DMs.

Thenyaw and the test level continue to be the maps that run the worst for me while v3 has been running smooth as butter with a near-constant ping around 100. It's MUCH worse whenever I'm in the presence of even two other dinos, and deathmatch is nearly unplayable because of all the mosh pits and dead bodies

I don't have much of an issue with Thenyaw or test maps. V3 still bugs me when I re-spawn/first spawn in. DM doesn't bother me (save as for recent but that's the update). The game just...randomly freezes on me when before it didn't. Irks the fuck out of me when it dose it when I'm fighting. As it happens at the worst times. Usually when I'm a smol dino.

Does the Isle also have it where you get rolled back? Like you could be half way down the beach, then rolled back, back to the mountains.Β
Thats one of the bigger headaches for Ark, that and being dash boarded.

Yep. This map in particular has always been very laggy for me, and once when the server crashed I got rolled back to where I'd been ten minutes before and lost some growth
Or rubber banding happens and I and other dinos end up teleporting all over the place and more than once I've teleported right into a rex's mouth

Maybe conditioning your mind for bare survival is not conductive to the creative spirit.
Remember that imaginary worlds are affecting our minds, too, like games are training useful abilities. This is related to how governments are preparing for a troublesome future and through that work on bringing that kind of future about.
Our minds are such powerful tools, yet few people realize the responsibility we carry.
(Just some spontaneous thoughts for pondering. I myself am having a hard time not being brought down by this world. ... Sometimes activity focus needs to shift, it seems. ... Or inactivity focus, the other half of the whole.)
