I finally found enough time to Color up one of my most favorite OCs I have ever made!

behold! Devoratrix Ossa!!

Name: Devoratrix Ossa (Latin for “Devourer of Bones”)
Species: Unknown (last of its kind)
Species classification: Insect
Carapace Color: Black and Deep Orange
Eye color: Green
Age: immune to aging (but estimated to be 500-950 years old)
Sentience: Semi-Sentient
Height: 8 feet
Ability: Able to Evolve and Devolve a near-unlimited range of abilities at will and at any given situation, Can Adapt to any type of Damage for 24 hours or less
Homeworld: Letum prima (Latin for Carnage Prime), a Jungle world.
Habitat: an uncharted, fog covered chasm. Covered in blackened stone, it is believed to have been the remains of intense volcanic activity.
Diet: Carnivore

Backstory:
For over 200 years of human colonization, the planet of Letum Prima has always been an extremely hard place to live. Human colonists would have to deal with hostile plant life and dangerous wildlife. However, there is one place devoid of life, where the colonists would dare not go, a harsh fog-covered canyon where even the most deadliest of predators on the planet dare not tread unless extremely desperate. The Local Colonists say only one creature lives in that hellish trench, an insect beast that goes by the name of Devoratrix Ossa or “Devourer of Bones”. Colonists say this creature stands at around 8 feet tall and will eat all parts of its prey…including their bones…the most disturbing part about Devoratrix Ossa is its ability to evolve and devolve a near unlimited range of traits, abilities and even powers during any and all given situations at will. Devoratrix Ossa can quite literally adapt to forms of combat even when in the middle of combat. Devoratrix Ossa is semi-sentient, making it even more dangerous as it can learn about its prey. It has short wings hidden under its carapace, much like a beetle, that help it jump longer distances. Devoratrix Ossa is also relentless as it doesn’t give up until its target is dead. Devoratrix Ossa is the most feared creature on the planet of Letum Prima, and is a major part of the Local Colonists’ Folklore and legend, but many off-worlders believe Devoratrix Ossa is but a myth.
