8D did another walk today! took only 3 hours this time ^^ BUT IT WAS FUN and I found food haha <3Adventure 1 is here

Fairy rings... so that's how you call them in English?
In Poland we call them "devil's rings".

reminds me of old days, when we walked in the forest, searching for mushrooms too :3 we mostly found and cook parasol shrooms , but my favourite (in look) is shaggy inkies too ;w;
by the way, is it true if you eat shaggy inkies you can't drink alcohol for a day at least?Β

omG i had a tonn of those shaggy inkies growing all over in my front yard!! i had no idea you could eat them : D my dad always warned me not to kick them because they could stain my shoes ;n; but when i told my mom you could eat them she was like "ewww D:" i shall convince her someday : D

ive never seen a forest like Β a real forest. all the land where I life at is taken so basicly no one can go any where, that and we have A LOT of deer ticks, it always hot and it never snows, ive never seen snow or a deer, hhhhh I FEEL LIKE IM MISSING OUT, IVE NEVER SEEN NATURE LIKE EVER unless google counts

You might want to cut the stem instead of tearing them from the ground. It can damage the fungal bed the mushrooms grow on making it harder for them to replenish themselves.
I like Chanterelle mushrooms the best.

Last year we had those shaggy ink caps growing randomly on our yard. Didn't know they were edible so I ran them over with a lawn mower.

The top ones (red with white spots) are Amanita muscaria aka Fly agaric, they are hallucinatory but only with correct preparation (otherwise they contain an acid that can lead to coma). The red only ones I thinkΒ
are called The Sickener and are poisonous.
The ones on teh tree are Oyster mushrooms and are also edible.
I found some shaggy ink caps on an industrial estate, but they are too close to where people walk dogs.
A good recipe (shaggy ink caps) is to take just the cap starfish slice it and put a little butter and an egg in it, then bake.Β
Apparently the Magna Carta was signed with in made from the shaggy ink cap... (just found that out)
