this is exactly what i thought as i created my fursona a long while ago
somthing simple, cute, and MATCHING

besides complicated designs is what stops me from making other people fanart xDD

wow what helped me the most was keeping the characters clothing/body etc simple and the color simple. i will keep that in mind as i make my characters!

THANK YOU! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that loading up your dog characters with rainbow colors is horrid (they are also known as 'sparkle-dogs' for their excessive color, patterning and accessories and they are usually extremely unoriginal and confusing).
