Can't think of a good name for the water type, but for some reason I like Flamen for your fire-type--but that's too close to your character's name, so probably nah....

Neat! I like 'em. The fire starter, especially has a rather pleasingly-nostalgic design.
It's also pretty cool how the starters seem to be kind of "themed" color-wise. Black/darkbrown + Elemental color + light color. It really reinforces the notion of them as a set, which is something I can't recall any canon starter trios doing before.

Grass = Twol (twig and owl) Fire = Flizzard (everyone else was sayign it, and i though it was cool!) And water = Weal (it sort of looks like a seal from a circus or something, idk >_<

Aqualeen = Aqua (water) + Ballerina (because of the ruffles or whatever around the neck)
Flizzard or Embalander (Ember + Salamander)

im guessing mustachio is either a bird...like an owl or a penguin...
the fire type looks like ... some mammal or an amphibian...
and the water type looks like a penguin polar bear fish to me :'D
