I figured, but I'm still not all that familiar with all the tools, and definitely not good at using most of them yet.
Eventually I'll probably figure it out and be able to do it well, but at the moment I would have no idea how

Nothing too specific. Since I'm trying to learn to draw more creatures, it would be nice to
learn how to add clear, neat markings without lines. I suppose there are many ways to go
about doing it, but I just haven't found a method that makes it look like a clear cut edge.

omw !! griff !! this is so perfect for me, and just by reading it helped so much. I use PSE11 and all of the photoshop aplied to it, so thats awesome ;u; especially the painting part. and i always forget how to make layers so that they are a mask layer haha. so thanks!! quq

or you can just make the texture layer into a clippinggroup, just like the shading and whatnot you did. cx that's whay I do at least
