Description
Use the snails to navigate from page to pageIve used Adobe flash Cs3 animating these. Put it all together in Cs5 because im to lazy to transfere the code my friend made for me xD
NOW there is a lot more detailed info about what is what and so on, but I dont think I would get room for all that in here. There are rules upon rules for what a keyframe is and you have breakdowns xD BUT im not going into details. What I suggest for people who really want to get serious about animating and learning all the basic things is to buy a book called
The Animators survival kit by Richard williams. The animated version is more amazing, so if you are able to rent it at a library DO IT [link] All the things you need to know is in there xD

This is actually really helpful for me! I'm making an animation for my final year major design & technology project, so every bit of info I can get helps xD
I never realised that you don't have to do all of the frames sequentially, but that you can do just the main 'action' frames, so thank you for that, I will definitely try this way of animating ^^

dear griffsnuff, sorry for bothering you... but i din't understand one thing: the inbetweens, they are just a tool of adobe flash, or you actually need to DRAW them?
For example: the first animation has 5 keyframes and its moves very...hum...."cracked" xD meanwhile the smoothest (i think i wrote it wrong :C ) one has 15 keyframes and it moves very smooth~~
heh...sorry for the question...but this doubt is making me crazy!!! D:

No inbetweens means "drawings between the keyframes" you need to draw them yes xDD the more imbetweens/ more drawings the smoother it is.

It doesnt work with layers, but if you have the onionskin on you can see the previous frames or next frames :3 like this [link]

I just got Adobe Flash CS6 for my Mac
and when I draw with Brush, it's almost like it has pressure, which is kind of cool, except it often doesn't exactly do what I want
but what I wanted to ask
was that when I draw with Pencil, it like, automatically makes my line straight and angular and stuff, and sometimes I just want a curved line
do you know how to change that?

the pencil worked perfectly, my window wasn't big enough and I didn't even see that option down there aha~
and the brush did too, I think I thought Smoothing helped make the lines smooth, and I had it up to 100... u v u;

wow u made this look so easy I really wish my college had flash animations classes instead of 3d modeling and animation and I didnt realize that book had tips in it about flash honestly time to do some research

What is that layer, on the bottom, with two keyframes?

the bottom layer is the hat, and the top is snuffen. Because theres no reason to copy paste a thing that is going to sit still for a long time into all the frames when you can just have it on one, in a diffrent layer ^^

In order to get CS6 flash, you have to pay money, it is no free sadly. You can get a free trial though, if that's any help to you. Here's a link to where you can get a free trial:
