Description
Use the snails to navigate from page to pageIve used Adobe flash Cs3 animating these. Put it all together in Cs5 because im to lazy to transfere the code my friend made for me xD
NOW there is a lot more detailed info about what is what and so on, but I dont think I would get room for all that in here. There are rules upon rules for what a keyframe is and you have breakdowns xD BUT im not going into details. What I suggest for people who really want to get serious about animating and learning all the basic things is to buy a book called
The Animators survival kit by Richard williams. The animated version is more amazing, so if you are able to rent it at a library DO IT [link] All the things you need to know is in there xD

I was absolutly lost at Flash, but this made me want to try again and after awhile i actually figured stuff out. Im still a bit lost, but now i know a little more.

i use sai to animate if i don't want to use flash
so it's kinda like gimp i guess
just use the layers as keyframes, really vuv
and when you put it together on whatever program you want
just put more time on a pic or something vuv

I Know how to do animation in photoshop but haven't figured it completely in gimp and its quite a bit different then photoshop. I've never used sai...

i don't use photoshop but i know gimp and sai are pretty similar
they've both got layers
and tools to draw with lol

photoshop is the same. but how to animate is different than gimp. With ps i could choose which layers to show in each frame for the animation. I haven't been able to do that, or at least to the same extent in gimp(only done one animation in gimp and don't remember what i did just that is was more complicated...)

you could always do it this way:
draw each layer as a separate frame
then save each layer as a separate image
then compile all the images in iaza.com or something

Thats a good thought but I prefer having something that i can work on even without internet access. I'm often working on things while at my grandparents or friends houses and do not have access to the internet so something like that wouldn't work.
