Paolo has two basic rules of engagement:

-If the subject is female, engage pervert-mode. (If subject resists charms, slink away and be miserable, making perverted comments under breath.)
-If the subject is a dude, challenge him to a fight. (If subject fights back, pretend it was all a joke, run away and whine.)

Jasper and Paolo have an odd sort of friendship. They usually get along pretty well, mostly due to Jasper's good-nature, but sometimes, inexplicably, Paolo will threaten Jasper with some act of violence or make fun of his accent. It's...a strange way to show affection, but that's just how Paolo's mind works. He just feels the need to assert his...dominance? Stupidity? Usually Jasper just rolls his eyes and tries to ignore it, but ocassionally his patience will wear out and bad things happen. Honestly, if it ever came down to blows, Jasper would beat the everloving snot out of Paolo. One shot to that glass jaw of his and he'd be on the floor whining his flammable butt off. The fact that Paolo still has any teeth at all is a testament to their friendship.

They...both have their dumb moments.

Paolo is more likely to screw around with Jasper when he's wearing his human-skin because he looks less threatening that way. This irritates the hell out of Jasper, since it takes a degree of concentration to maintain his disguise, and getting pissed at Paolo is usually enough to mess things up. Jasper is generally very passive and sweet, but he has a really awful temper when he gets worked up about something. It takes a whole lot to get to him, though. Paolo usually has to poke and prod at him for weeks before he gets upset. He hates. hates. hates. getting his nose poked. He really isn't used to having a nose, and it bothers the heck out of him when Paolo feels the need to stab at it with his claws.

Emile, very much against his will, has to work with the two of them on occasion since they both are very, very good at breaking and entering. It is his not-so-secret wish that they both get into a fight and end up in the hospital for a few weeks to cool off. He doesn't really like either of them. At all. But he probably hates Paolo more because he's a freeloader.
