I really just don't like what Da has become.

It feels like there's two.
One side is the artists that want Da to be a place for art again and the other is people who actively hate people who can actually draw.

watching Da promote Ai over people who've honed their skills through years of practice and hardwork is also just really gross.

I will haunt this place if only to watch it burn down, but I'm not going to post here any more. It's sad because I grew up with da. I found really amazing people and was inspired to learn how to create. It was always a mess, but it was also always a place for people to learn and grow. Now its a battleground for those who want to create art and those that want to steal and make a quick buck while hurting those that helped to make their products in the first place.

For those of you defending AI. I've heard all the arguments and none of them very good. (Including one very gross defense of cp) Nothing good is going to come of generative AI. This is not progress, its exploitation.

For those Artists that remain. You're braver than I am. I hope that you continue to create and know that everything you make down to the silliest of doodles is worth so much more than what someone can order from an algorithm. You're beautiful and you have every right to be angry.

Lets find somewhere to build a community for people who care about the process as much as the end result and don't actively want artists to suffer.
