Naturally my hair is a dark brown color, almost black.

It's possible to dye hair? I'm not sure I'd be comfortable trying that, I think I'll keep the dye to my clothes thank you! (They may be witches but dyeing hair wasn't something people did back then xD)

It reaches my lower back and is a little bit longer when it's wet.

Oh, I generally leave it as it is, I like my hair.

No, but that does sound interesting. Janus' eyes have powers though!

My teeth? Not that I'm aware of. Why? Are they supposed to be magical as well?

Hmm, I suppose it's fairly wide and straight.

Yes, it's heart shaped and slightly rounded.

No, I don't really care for them. They sound so painful!

Oh, um...I've never really thought about it... (I think she's just a little on the pudgy side, her small stature really doesn't help her there x'D)

I wouldn't mind...but I really have no idea!

I think I stand up quite straight because I'm always trying to use every inch of my height to be a little taller!

Comfortable flowy robes and dresses!

I like touches of nature such as leaves, vines and flowers.

Only for special occasions, I don't like the way it feels on my skin.

Mainly for special ceremonies, but I sometimes like to wear simple pieces during the day.

I'm left handed.

Magical properties

I was born with them, that's the norm here in Elysium.

I personally prefer to channel my powers through my body for small, simple, everyday spells, but for special ceremonies and appearances the people like to see something more extravagant, so I often carry a staff of some sort on such occasions.

I have the same powers as any other witch, I've merely had more training.

56. Did someone teach you how to use your powers, or were you left to discover them alone?
It's a little bit of both really! My parents and friends taught me what they knew, then I was taken on as an apprentice by the elder in our village, and I spent years being tutored by her. As well as that, every witch learns a lot about his or her own abilities.

Personality

58. Are you religious?
We don't have a set religion as such, but we speak to the earth and the spirits of our ancestors, and of those who came before us. Some of these spirits take the shapes of Gods and Goddesses, and we do seek guidance from these spirits and have ceremonies to honour and celebrate them.

59. Are you superstitious?
In a way...but again, it's linked to our Gods and Goddesses. We believe that if we displease them that they can punish us, again through the earth and the land.

60. Do you have any political beliefs?
Politics is really a very new concept actually. I am the first Queen this village has had. Before we established this new monarchy, we had a village elder, or the most wise and powerful witch among us who would offer advice and help to everyone in the village. The previous elder and I discussed the idea of taking this role a little bit further and spoke to the people about it. It took a while to convince everyone, and there are probably still some people who are unsure, but we believe that it will be the best way to offer help and security to our people moving forward. In ancient times the elder would also pass on her role to her first born child when she became too old to perform her duties any more, and quite a few of the villagers suggested re-establishing this tradition in order to have one family line on the throne...however, I've never believed in this. In theory it's a nice idea, but in practise it's not. A problem our ancestors encountered was that another witch in the village would naturally be a lot stronger than the elder's heir, and so people would seek advice from this person instead, making the elder irrelevant, the tradition almost died out until one elder decided to choose an heir for herself. This is what I will continue to do.

62. Would you consider yourself to be a hero or a villain?
I don't really feel that such a concept exists here....but I'd like to think that I'm a 'hero', I try to put my people first, and I would do anything to protect them.

63. What are your views on sex and relationships? (Do they think it's okay to sleep around or do they believe that marriage should come first) Oh, I couldn't possibly talk about that! *blush*

I believe that our souls join the spirits of our ancestors.

I absolutely do NOT believe in murder! Every life is precious!

No, I believe that most disagreements can be settled peacefully through words, instead of force, though I am prepared to protect my people any way I have to.

I would definitely say that I'm an optimistic!

No, I certainly try not to be. Having a title can go to someone's head, so I try very hard to stay grounded. I really am the same as any other witch, I've just been very, very lucky.

Well...for a long time, I believed that I could never have children. I was heartbroken and it almost tore myself and my husband apart. Taking on Leto's twins really brought us through that dark period...and a few years later, Janus and I were blessed with our own child.

I'm afraid I don't know what that is? (In their culture, different sexualities aren't labelled, it's just natural for someone to fall in love with anyone. A man and a woman can fall in love and no one minds, and a man and a man, and a woman and a woman can fall in love and it's the same, those two people are in love, and that's just the way it is xD...that's why Demeter doesn't understand the concept xD, labelling sexuality would be a modern thing.)

I try to follow the rules that the elder and I put in place.

I'm really not sure...I just allow things to happen as they happen.

Well..I am the Queen...but I don't like to wear shoes. So I suppose that both of these things are true.

I don't know about popular, but I think I'm well-liked by my subjects.

I'm a keen gardener, and I really enjoy cooking and baking.

They passed on, but their spirits live on in the village, so even though it's sad, they're still with us.

No...we don't have that. I was tutored by my parents, friends and the village elder though, so that's a similar concept.

Any magic involving nature!

I really enjoyed learning about all types of magic...but if I had to choose, I'd say I disliked manipulative magic such as voodoo. It's something we never use here anyway, but I was taught the concept and it always frightened me.

The spells needed to bring about day and night. Also, spells used to grow plants!

134d. What is/was your worst subject?
Any manipulative magic...I really struggled with it.

Well..I am the Queen...but I don't like to wear shoes. So I suppose that both of these things are true.

No...we don't have that. I was tutored by my parents, friends and the village elder though, so that's a similar concept.

Any magic involving nature!

I really enjoyed learning about all types of magic...but if I had to choose, I'd say I disliked manipulative magic such as voodoo. It's something we never use here anyway, but I was taught the concept and it always frightened me.

The spells needed to bring about day and night. Also, spells used to grow plants!

134d. What is/was your worst subject?
Any manipulative magic...I really struggled with it.
