Description
After kind of losing the effect the sketch had after inking it, I desperately tried to recapture the essence of the picture with the coloring xD. I'm really pleased with the outcome actually! I might play around with the settings on GIMP at some point and see what else I can do with it, but I'm pretty pleased with this for the time being xD.

It was fun playing around with the coloring with this picture, I wanted to make it look like she's really doing her best to fight off the darkness, but it's closing in. I was going to draw some scenery, but I felt like this was enough .

I know what you're thinking :') 'More Fem!Sora, really? Really. I just had so much fun designing her that I wanted to draw her again, but I hadn't planned on drawing something like this originally. I recently got into the song 'Tied Together with a Smile' by Taylor Swift, especially when I was working on the original Fem!Sora picture, and now whenever I listen to that song she comes to mind xD...plus it kind of works since Sora IS a very happy, smiley character. Well a story has been slowly forming in my head when I listen to the song, and I really wanted to draw something like this where she's going through a rough patch, and she's gone somewhere to cry on her own because she doesn't want Riku or Kai to know that something's going on with her (we all need a good cry sometimes xD). Anyway, so I imagine someone has walked in on her when she wasn't expecting it, so she's plastered a smile on her face like 'Hey! I'm okay!' but....clearly she's not .

I might write a fanfic about it sometime (probably something very short xD) because I like the idea ^^. I actually started a short fanfic to go along with this, but my writing is pretty rusty so it's a WIP. Here's the first paragraph (I'm sorry if it's truly awful xD).

Maybe I should have seen it coming. I mean, all the warning signs were there....subtle as they were, I'd picked up on them, hadn't I? The icy rain mingling with the wind hits my exposed skin like an icy shower, like a wake up call that's come too late. Looking back...maybe I HAD seen it coming. Holding her limp body in my arms only seems to emphasize the feeling of guilt that threatens to swallow me like the waves that crash down on the wet sand only meters away from us. Her head lolling against my chest only reinforces the idea that I HAD know all along...but her cheerful demeanour, that ever present smile of her's as warm as the sun that floods the island everyday, had been enough reason for me to ignore the niggling sensation that would accompany the fleeting looks of apprehension, the momentary outbursts, the tear that she'd hastily wipe away from the corner of her eye...all of the indications that had left me with the unshakeable feeling that there was something very wrong with Sora.
