I saw the movie yesterday and I think, he's okay. Not a masterpiece like the original, but worth a look.
And like so many times before I wasn't happy with my work, this time it's the GITS-piece. So I did a new one and I hope You like it, too.

Apparently they mixed some ideas from Original manga + Stand Alone Complex + 1995 Animated Movie and simplified the whole

This adaptation has basically devided the film and anime reviewing community, with 1 side saying that it was good, whilst the other side have said it was a very horrible film, even 2 movie movie reviewers who do rants are divided, man this film is very divisive

For me it wasn't a terrible movie. It was okay, I still have the original, so why should I hate it. It was very interesting to see this world in CGI, but it didn't flash me like the first movie in my youth. The same would happen with "Akira". It would be interesting to see a real-life-version, but I will not rock me anymore like in the past...

Plus some anime and non anime fans liked the film, because angry Joe's co reviewers gave it an 8 of 10, which is good

You a good job in capturing the Major here. My one worry was that the film would not be truthful to the original anime/manga.
