Description This is Captain Stain Voss, Commander of the 8th Company of the Black Pauldrons and a genius in the matter of assault and close combat tactics.

Captain Voss can be played as Captain Kayvaan Shrike count-as.

I like the jump packs from the sanguinary guard. I think they are my choice for assault-veterans, in combination with deathcompany torsos.

Parts used:
Torso Front: Blood Angels Deathcompany
Torso Back, right Pauldron, Jump-Pack: BA Sanguinary Guard
Left Claw and Pauldron: Space Marine Command Squad
Helmet: Some SM-Box, i think it's from the Commander
Pistol (in holster): SM Commander
Right Claw and Legs: Space Wolves
Iron Halo, Nunchaku: SM Terminators
Plus some Space Marine Bitz

Blood Angels Second Founding? I recognize lotยดs of bitz from the Death Company and Sanguinary Guard.

Nope, Iron Hands founding. He is the captain of the 8th, the Assault-Company, and i think the assaultiest of all captains with jump-pack in the chapter should have some special assault equipment

Captain Shrike, the character he counts as, is from the Raven Guard.

There are indeed some BA-Bitz, but without any BA iconography

Alright.. I understand why the Captain of an all-assault marines Company should have some assault equipment. Imagine him running after all his men who just jump to the foe... Battle will be over by the time he gets there XD. And Iยดm familiar with Captain Strike Nice choice. But then again, the only jump-pack-equipped-character in the Space Marine Codex...

Doesn't quite work without a "Beaky" helmet. the pose also seems a bit "Limp", he doesn't seem to have the same feeling as the GW model.

As a "Counts As" its pretty damn good. Certainly want to see how he evolves.

The power of the word, man, the power of the word...

I've read somewhere that many SM carry excerpts of the Codex Astartes into battle with them, which is said to give them extra power and smite their foes...

somehowe i allways pictured him with a corvus helmet

Your'e right, he usually has a Corvus helmet.

But the Corvus helmets from the normal SM-boxes have no bling-bling. I wanted to put a lorel wreath on it but it is to big.
And the Corvus helmets from the Dark Angels and Space Wolves had to much chapter iconography.

Agreed. I really like what you've done. Personally I would have gone with the Champion helmet... {^_^}

Thanks
The Champion helmets are reserved for the Veterans
