Description
Even elite members of the Soul Society's Secret Remote Squad can fall victim to bad fortune, unforeseen circumstances or superior enemy action. And that's why we see Yoruichi and Soi Fon in their current predicament, bound and locked away in a stone prison cell.Of course, having someone of their ability and keeping someone of their ability are two very different things.

I wanted to try drawing Soi Fon, and I had to constantly remind myself to keep her body very boyish. Lots of straight lines, broad shoulders, very thin and wiry. I'm not used to drawing women that way.

not much of Soi Fong around, you certainly made a great job in the body proportions.

I've had my eye on that Soi Fon for some time in that last story arc. Nice to see her this way.

She's an intriguing character, both physically and psychologically. Although sometimes I think the original author just put her and Rukia in to keep the panels from listing to one side, given the hyper-figures on all the other female characters in that piece.

Yoruichi was a lot easier to draw. I've done her before. And she's got curves.
