Description
A sequel, of a sort, to this [link]Power Girl was bragging about how she was stronger than everybody this side of Superman, and how nothing could hold her if she didn't choose to be held.
So Zatanna decided to clue the young Kryptonian in on a few things by demonstrating her famous Hindu Ribbon Trick on Power Girl. Now her boasts lay in ashes, disproven by three dollars worth of common ribbon and Zatanna's ability to manipulate magic.

A series of drawings showing other super heroines being captured by Zatanna would be great, especially if the next one to be captured is Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman: "I'm not Power Girl, Zatanna! You'll need more than magic to defeat me!" Zatanna: "We'll see about that! Nedlod ossal dnib erdnow namow!" Wonder Woman: "Great Hera! You're controling my golden lasso!" Zatanna: "That's right, Wonder Woman! I know that your lasso compels you to obey whoever binds you with it! And I also know about your magic belt and how helpless you are without it! Remove your magic belt and give it to me!" Wonder Woman: "The lasso is forcing me to make myself powerless!!" Zatanna: "Excellent! Now sit in that chair over there!" As Wonder Woman sits in the chair, she notices chains on a nearby table and has a dreadful feeling that she knows what's going to happen next. Zatanna: "Nedlod ossal emoc ot em! Sniahc eit erdnow namow ot eht riahc!" Wonder Woman: "Oh no!" Zatanna: Oh yes! These chains will hold you now that you no longer have your magic belt! And I have special plans for your golden lasso!"

Love how helpless Power Girl looks in this picture. Wish there was a first picture that shows Power Girl underestimating Zatanna and being captured with she thinks is an ordinary ribbon. Zatanna: "Nobbir emoceb elkaerbnu dna dnib rewop lrig!" Power Girl: "You've got to be kidding! Do you really think you can capture me with an ordinary ribbon!? Mmphh!!" In this picture, the evil expression on Zatanna's face is priceless and says it all: "As you no doubt realize, Power Girl, I have used my magic to make this ribbon unbreakable! Your powers are useless!"

Well, Zatanna draws from two sources. She uses trickery and illusion in her stage act, but can draw on real magic when needed. And that was the case here. All she did was take ordinary ribbon and say "nobbir emoceb elbakaerbnu. dnib rewop lrig." And Power Girl was taken down a peg.

Must take years to learn the daunting skill of talking backwards. If Zatanna ever tricks me into saying my name backwards, (esidarapnogardpans) I'll be transported back to Snapdragonparadise.
