This picture of Nicole from Sonic The Hedgehog was requested by shadowsoldier247.Now I am NOT a gamer, so I'm not familiar with about 95% of game characters. And what I know (or want to know) about the Sonic Universe would fit in a thimble. As I understand it, Nicole is a virtual manifestation of a computer program or something. All that was immaterial. She is a cute little, um, whatever she is and the picture seemed simple enough. And she has an expressive face. I mean, don't you just feel like smacking the dastardly villain who has trussed her up like that?
It's probably some virus. They're always tying up your computer programs so they can't function.

I'd sure like to smack whoever's responsible for that antivirus malware that leaps out of DevArt's ads and interrupts my browsing with a phoney scan, instantly claiming my computer is infected and that I must go to their site to purchase $50 worth of antivirus software. It's an online mugging that apparantly originates in Ukraine and I've notified DA about it repeatedly but it keeps coming back like a ghost in the programing. But not if I'm the one who tied her up.

I ran into that once myself. DA was able to fix me up the first time I reported it. Seems those folks over there don't know hot to take "no" for an answer. Keep reporting it, that's all I can say.

It's also possible the malware is in embedded in some ads long after the site has gone out of business. Which may be the real world meaning of the term "Ghost in the Machine".
