Description
Anna's Hummingbird in San Diego. It is amazing how the coloration on the head changes from almost black to to a ultra saturation magenta.Related content

I was with in a meter and a half. So close actually, that as the wind blew him around he would get within my lens my lens minimum focus distance. The cool thing about hummingbirds is that they are so very territorial and like to hang out in the same tree or even on the same stick. So every time this guy would leave the perch I would get a little closer and eventually was right next to it. Thanks for the kind comment!
