It's a shame the Shuttle launches are coming to an end, hopefully they'll have a replacement up & running soon.

Awesome pic, thanks for sharing...

Went there a few months ago when the penultimate one was sitting on its launch pad. Holy hell that building is huge.

I'm driving down to Cape Canaveral tomorrow to see the launch! It's such a shame that Obama ended the shuttle program, but it's a great honor for me to be able to see a launch. Great shot!

The space shuttle was supposed to open up new doorways. It's so sad to see it go. I hope that it's successor will be used at least by the time of my grandchildren...

Wonderful pic. I'm glad you were able to be there. Thanks for a great picture to remember her by. It is a very sad moment for those of us who truly believe in manned spaceflight. (I wanted nothing more growing up to be an astronaut. Still do actually. Unfortunately. I was cursed with myopia.)

watched the rollout live on NasaTV, was a wonderful moment, I am truly gutted I will never get to see one launch. This is a wonderful capture, and I love the hazyness around the crawler, SRB's, External tank and Orbiter. I don't remember if it was raining that night or not.

Anyway, congrats on the DD

Personnally I think you should have way more comments than are showing, but then again it's just the start. I believe you will get many more comments for this DD.
