And a return to the visitors and something more lighthearted. Nice to take a break from "SIMBAISSICKINTHEHEAD" being thrown around by different characters every time. XD I don't have plans to bring it up in this scene, and then there'll be a couple shorter scenes before the next big event. I don't want to spoil, but if I don't do something interesting soon, I'll lose it.
Nala is drawn in her old style, which I'm not satisfied with anymore. I figure she's allowed to chunk up a little as she matured and aged, but I just don't think this much alteration looks that good. It's too late to use references with the next page as it's already complete, but I can do that with the next one.
Kiara, Tiifu and Ikeno (fully recovered from the bee stings) can be seen in the background of panel 2. The princess and her cubhood friend hanging out with an ex-Outsider is a scene that was considered weird up until a few months before the start of the comic.
