Description
The words are from Don Quixote, and the shape of the thing is supposed to be based on 'Mambrino's Helm'. Everything else is pure grthink -- the Applehead, the mountain, the bear and la lapin.The image quality is... I don't know to be honest. I've used my Dad's camera and my Dad's computer and I'm not familiar with the programs I've used... I'm actually going to make the effort to get this and the A2 thing I've been working on scanned somewhere where they kinow what they're doing, and then I'll update the file.

It could be a bit bigger though, some of the words are hard to see.

The book's worth reading, but it takes commitment. Even the biggest Cervantes fan would have to tell you that he could have cut a lot of it out
If you download the file you'll get a very big version... I'd actually forgotten how big the full version was... It's hefty.

Thanks Stef. I'm still unsure as to what to do with the background areas... I'm thinking I might just do my usual thing and black the rest of it out. But I'm glad you like it -- I'm pretty pleased with how it went.

the background areas are ok as they are, imho. looking at the avatar at first i thought you took a shot of the piece while it was standing on some kind of square-decorated table, and only when looking to the full size pic i realized it was part of the piece itself. i think it adds something.
