My OCs for the next generation!

Kiara and Kovu’s Cubs:
Khaila: she looks more like Kiara besides her fur color, fur tuft, and her nose, which she inherited form Kovu. She is a stubborn and proud future queen (much like Simba when he was a cub) and she is a bit of a brat sometimes, probably because she is princess of the pridelands. She always speaks her mind and isn’t very good at reading social cues or being empathetic, which is not a very good trait, but it defines her very well.
Denali: before we talk about Denali’s un-African name, his name is from the Ojibwe indigenous peoples, and it just seems like it fits him. Unlike his extroverted sister, Denali is a bit of a shy soul and isn’t very open about his feelings. While he can’t really express his own emotions, he’s very good at understanding others’. Denali is a sweet little cub and a mama’s boy (which makes Khaila jealous sometimes) but can be annoying at times. His appearance resembles great-great-half Uncle Scar (don’t ask me how the traits were passed down- it would probably be very confusing XD) besides his pink nose from his grandpa simba, his green and blue eyes from Nala and Kovu, and his ringed ears from his great grandma, Sarabi. His colors resemble a bit of his uncle, Kion’s but they are less saturated, from his outlander part of the family.
Rani and Kion’s Cubs:
Now, Rani and Kion don’t stay in love in my universe, but these cubs are from when they were younger. Anyways... on to the characters!
Damu: Damu is the youngest, but only cub by blood that Kion and Rani have. Damu is the leader of the night pride and his personality is a lot like Kion’s. Damu is headstrong and ambitious, strong and respective, though he still retains his mother’s dignified side. His features include a dark caramel pelt, light brown eyes, a curly tuft of hair, and some fancy ear designs.
Edi: Edi is the most daring and fierce of the cubs. She was going to be the leader of the night pride, but she was adopted along with her brother. Well, not necessarily adopted, but rescued from their dying parents. Edi has huge eyes and spots of brown all over her. My original concept from 2018 was that she would look like nala, though not related to her. So maybe in my next drawings of her she will look like Nala. Her eyes are a dusty brown that fits perfectly to her freckled pelt. She has a blind eye from being hurt in the battle and a chunk of her ear missing.
Baku: Baku had always been teased for his odd looking appearance, but his bright blue eyes at least save him a little love. Baku is easygoing and untalkative. He has a lot of friends, big dreams, and very little talents XD. He loves animals and wants to be a healer like Nirmala when he grows up. He is betrothed to Khaila when he’s older and the relationship actually lasts (weird, right?).

anyways, I hope you like my characters! I will be making mini comics soon, like little clips of the story, explaining everything that happened so stay tuned.
