Heart Piece and Soleil had met up on a special day... The same day that happened every year. All the royals would get together and talk and make merry. Heart Piece was especially ecstatic about seeing Soleil again for some beauty advice-- if you needed to know anything about fixing up your looks you'd always go to her-- she was the best at that sort of thing. After a while of socializing, Heart had found herself alone with Sol.

Heart Piece: Hey Shiny! I have a question about some hair things. I was wondering if I should restyle my mane- maybe for a new style of my art. *she smiles and rambles on* I'm switching from painting to making vases for a season and I want to see if-
Soleil: I don't want to talk about that stuff!
Heart Piece: ...
Soleil: *sighs* I'm sorry Heart... I just- I'm having a bit of a hard time...
Heart: Hey, that's okay... We don't have to talk about it I guess...
Soleil: Thanks...
Heart: But Sol... Is there something wrong? You know you can tell me.
Soleil: ... Well... Yes... But...
Heart: Hey, I'm the element of acceptance, I think I'm good with this sorta things. C'mon Sol, you can tell me.
Soleil: *Hesitant* ...Okay... To be completely honest... I don't want to be a model anymore.
Heart: Really? Why?
Soleil: *Sighs* It just isn't what I like... It's too... Pressured! You're not allowed to have a personality other than a posh smile and a shut mouth! Nothing you do other than what you look like matters! It's shallow and wasteful for me! I'd rather be in a lab messing with spells and magic!
Heart: ... Oh... So, why don't you leave?
Soleil: Chic won't let me... She's my manager, and she's using this dumb loophole to keep me in it... Plus I can't bare to tell mother or any of the ponies that think I'm perfect for it...
Heart: Well... Chic is a shallow pony for sure... That's her job, to whip the models into order and make them famous- nothing else. You're your own pony, Sol. You're not bound because others say so. I promise.
Soleil: *Crying now* It's just... It's hard already, Heart. I'm scared because of who my parents are. I can't and won't strive to achieve excellence- not the excellence that everypony expects me to be... Socially, politically... Heart I just can't take the media. I just can't take the expectation... I'm not like my mother or father- not at all! It's... It's hard! *Sniffles*
Heart: *puts a hoof to her shoulder*
Soleil: I should be happy because of how lucky I am... But I'm just not meant to be like a Canterlot royal. *Wipes her eyes*
Heart: I know exactly what you mean Soleil... I know exactly... It is hard. You shouldn't feel guilty Soleil. It'll be alright. I'll help you through this.
Soleil: *Sniffles* Thanks Heart Piece... *Smiles*

I wanted to make an interaction between the two royals children, and the connection for these two is the horribly high social expectation that comes along with being the child of a queen. I've seen this in nearly everyone at least once- society tells them that they HAVE to fit into this category, and it takes away your self worth. You can't know how to fight this butchering process because you've never been given time to think for yourself, and when you suddenly realize you're not what you are, it leaves you broken, lonely and scared.
Heart Piece experienced this with giving up her life as a royal to have a normal life- at first her royal blood held her back, but eventually people learned to look past this and treat her as a good friend.
I kinda felt depressed, and I wanted to draw Soleil again, so woot
