Her sequel was a success that dwarfed the first, and after a difficult but ultimately fruitful explanation to her parents and coworkers Ink Jewel came forward as the author. Her next novel was finished not even a year later, a fantasy that made bestseller within the first month. Moving to Canterlot so as to be closer to her publisher, the former model has made a happy living with her dream work. Contrary to popular believe concerning models, Ink Jewel is friendly and caring to anyone she meets. Despite the success of her romance trilogy, and the cries for her next fantasy novel, the graceful unicorn has decided to take a step away and work on a short children's series that she has desired to write for well over a year.

It's her kind nature and soft-spoken charm that drew Snow Wishes, the author's roommate, out of her anxiously shy shell. One of many dear friends and loved ones Ink Jewel now enjoys, she marvels almost every day that she is indeed living her dream.
