The graceful, gentle giant of the North. Truly, there are few explanations that better describe Windy. Born as any other unicorn would be, Windy soon stood out as being different when she first started attending school only to discover she did not even fit in her desk. By the time she had her cutie mark she was nose to nose with any fully grown pony twice her age, and it did not stop there. Now fully grown herself, Windy towers nearly half-over the height of most stallions, not even including her horn! No one really knows why she just kept growing, but Windy doesn't mind at all. She has a better view, or so she says.

With a cutie mark associated with the wind and the cold, it isn't surprising that Windy enjoys the lands near the Crystal Empire. She makes her trade as a guide through the storms and twisting trails easily hidden in snow and ice. Guarding against gales and frost, Windy takes expeditions into the deep north as well as offering a more scenic route to finding the Crystal Empire than simply taking the skyway. Her magic can both shield from the elements and illuminate a path most wouldn't see, and is a sight most will not forget.

She has been considering starting a glacier tour service, possibly even taking ponies far enough north to meet some of the far more interesting creatures of ice and snow, but has yet to find a time when her responsibilities as a guide are always required. Especially with a rise in the number of the strange occurrences in the north, a brave and experienced guide is hard to come by.
