Description
I grow frustrated with people who inaccurately measure skulls (especially when I buy them expecting a 6" possum skull but it turns out to be 5.5") so I made this tutorial to show how I measure skulls. The method was explained to me by several people back when I was new to skull collecting so I know it is commonly used.Full-size or download for image of epic proportions.

Including a lesson on bleach, how to clean, degrease, whiten, and seal a skull.

Also, for large things, measuring tape is your best friend ever.

Well yes, but still best bet to put between two solid straight edges. And it's rare that many of us ever own a skull larger than a yard stick. I have a few horse skulls but I think even a draft horse skull falls under 3 feet.

Yeah though I don't own a yardstick. XD Just a standard ruler.

Most excellent! I love this idea...it would work so amazingly well with any oddly shaped object!

That's a neat idea! I've never dealt with skulls... but I'm jealous of your bjd's posing ability.
