Description Well I thought my tutorial was really really different from the original that I followed a couple years ago when I first made my first one but really it wasn't.

Mines a little bit different. But yeah.... mines simplier I guess.

Nice tutorial. It's helpful. I had to do some things backwards because I am using gimp. I always wanted to know how to make an ice beam.

very cool I use gimp sometimes at work. One of the first things I tried was an Ice ray. It worked pretty good Did you post your render that you made trying the tutorial?

No I didn't. I should have, but I didn't save it. I was moving quickly through it so it didn't look all that good.

hey i just tried this things.. kinda fun.. doh.. if i wanna place a layer below the "adjustment layer - colorbalance" they are all affected by it.. is there any way to go around this?

I'm not entirely photoshop savvy, but I understand most of this. It is much simpler than I expected it to be.

I need to try this some time. Even if I don't fit it into a piece of art, I'd like to just see if I can do it.

nps photoshop does alot of stuff for you.

I love photoshop

Some of the most complicated things are just a few simple things put together.

thanks It took me a few hours to write then I realized the old ice beam tutorial was still floating around so I didn't want it to go to waste

Well I hope someone get's some use out of it anyways. For now I'm going to bed but I'll be on DA all day tomorrow to answer any questions!

(Course I'll be at work so I might not be able to answer ALL the questions cuz I wont be able to see photoshop)
