Aww, poor Fluttershy...
You did an awesome job on this piece. Β Your shading is excellent. Β Not only have you positioned the shadows properly, as well as adding highlights to the jaw line and hair, but you made the shadows a completely different color, which truly brings this image alive. Β The red of her neck is scarcely darker than the yellow of her body, and this keeps her looking vibrant even while conveying the presence of shadows. Β You've kept the background entirely in dark, cool colors, and that makes the vibrant yellows and reds in Fluttershy stand out even more.
But what really makes this piece for me is Fluttershy's expression, much of it coming from her detailed eyes. Β You've used your own style for her eyes, making them three-dimensional and realistic, and they are very well done. Β Those shy eyes also suggest a sadness from her failures, but they also show that she has not given up yet - she will still try to cheer everyone up.
