Description ***Full view or download all the way! XD ***

So, here's a sketch dump of J+H.
Basically it is a collection of random scraps, recent scribbles, some of them VERY random.
The first part is the most recent. I am studying Jekyll's hair style. I'm also planning to do, soon or later, that drawing where he's dressed as Hyde, but in white. Sounds cute!
The middle part is a mix of old stuff and recent. Here goes the Ponytail of doom. Looks like David Hasselhyde's wig has been stolen. And it surely doesn't work on a dbz character. Not even in Hyde's case!
The last part contains a spoiler scrap. You'll notice that Hyde's hair are longer, as well Jekyll's.
Of course, you can't miss the last, nonsense short strip!

Tell me if you like it ^_^

GT18 In reply to ThitaniumPrince [2009-08-06 10:56:10 +0000 UTC]

XD

GT18 In reply to ThitaniumPrince [2009-08-06 13:06:42 +0000 UTC]

Korpiklaani? Ahahah!!!

ThitaniumPrince In reply to GT18 [2009-08-06 16:24:11 +0000 UTC]

P.S. Non conosci i Korpiklaani?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GT18 In reply to ThitaniumPrince [2009-08-07 07:31:48 +0000 UTC]

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ThitaniumPrince In reply to GT18 [2009-08-07 07:45:30 +0000 UTC]

GT18 In reply to ThitaniumPrince [2009-08-07 07:54:30 +0000 UTC]

Aaah, ma "Beer Beer" forse la conosco. Per caso è questa?
[link]

ThitaniumPrince In reply to GT18 [2009-08-07 08:04:55 +0000 UTC]

Your sketches make me happy! I too hate the horror cliches involving making Hyde Jack the Ripper or Dracula or anything like that. It does make me want to draw a Jack the Ripper Were-Monkey Hulk Dracula Hyde, who incorporates all of the cliches that people like to use with him.

About the sketch of your Hyde with Musical-Hyde's hair - I think he actually looks pretty hot like that. Not quite as hot as he does when he's a lovely naked snake-woman, but I still find it much more attractive than the whole spikey-anime-hair he's got, and you draw that long, messy style of hair very well too.

Also, your Hyde could never, ever be mistaken for a woman, not even with pigtails and a lacy bow. My version of Hyde, however...

I also like your sketches of the Hyde-beating-the-little-girl scene too, they're very dynamic. Is that coming up soon, maybe?

GT18 In reply to golddew [2009-08-05 08:04:59 +0000 UTC]

Jack the Ripper were-monkey Hulk Dracula Hyde? Well, sounds like a real challenge.

Hyde looks better with Hasselhyde's hair style, you say? Well, I guess it is a question of taste. But I may draw his spikey hair down and messy pretty much like that in case of heavy shower ^_^ (mmmm, Murder Murder).

A bishi version of Hyde may be exchanged for a pretty woman, but of course..not this Hyde. Not even an ugly and deformed female! But anyway, you gave me a funny idea for the next scrap dump. You should better cover your eyes, 'cause it won't be a nice view!

The little girl part is still a bit far. Compared with other things Hyde will do, it is maybe the most soft. But I'm still planning it since I have to decide if put Enfield or not. And as a matter of fact, Hyde doesn't seem to be the one who's willing to sittle with the mob, is he?

golddew In reply to GT18 [2009-08-08 23:55:15 +0000 UTC]

Oh no, I think I can guess what you'r going to draw for your scrap dump, and I think I'll have to get a tub of bleach and a scrub brush at hand so that I can be ready to scrub the image out of my eyes.

No, your Hyde isn't nearly as polite as the Hyde from the novel, and he also doesn't seem as concerned with keeping a low profile either. I'm guessing your Hyde is more likely to give Enfeild a good whack, fight free of the crowd and run off into the night than cough up any cash.

Maybe instead of Enfeild, you could use those two lab assistants instead? I bet they'd fill his place in the scene rather well.

GT18 In reply to golddew [2009-08-09 08:21:37 +0000 UTC]

It all depends from my mental strenght. If only Hyde was depilated, it would have a less shocking impact. You know, there is a page where he got naked torso, and I still go "EEEW!" probably it is not a proper vision?
In any case, get ready the tub and the scrub brush.

Heh. Hyde can easily kill a bunch of people with a single swing, if only he wants to, then...being forced to pay for a little brat? No way! XD

Well, I was also thinking about one, or both of his "friends" witnessing the foul event. The only problem is that they know Jekyll really well. And despite Hyde looks pretty different, they may suspect something if they see him in the face.( inconveniences of being a dbz character, and also noseless: you certainly won't pass unobserved. ) Same thing for Lucy, but in that case, Hyde will be able to deceive her in a curious way.
So...unless his face is half covered, there is such problem.
In fact, Hyde will have a pretty good reason to cover his face for a while, after what he will do...
Or...what about the dear Glossop? I'm willing to put the pompous general in the story, 'cause I hate him.

In any case, Utterson will met Hyde soon or later. It is destiny that such an event will screw everything.

golddew In reply to GT18 [2009-08-12 02:52:43 +0000 UTC]

Realistically, who would suspect that a person who looks similar to someone they know is, in fact, the person they knew? If I saw some gigantic musclebound man with a face like my friend's then I'd assume he was that my friend's brother or cousin, but not him. That could be an interesting and unique twist to include, that people think Hyde is Jekyll's evil brother or cousin. I know that's the pretense FemaleHyde used in Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde.

Ooh, very ominous. Are you going to have Hyde do something a little more... creative - maybe even gruesome - than in the Musical? he could always do something particularly nasty to Glossop! I think it would be a great idea to include him, just so that you could kill him off!

Utterson does seem to have a knack for doing that, doesn't he? Always snooping around where he shouldn't, discovering secrets, stalking Hyde for weeks...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GT18 In reply to golddew [2009-08-12 08:04:40 +0000 UTC]

Indeed it is absurd to think. Anyway i tell you that this kind of twist is exactly what I was thinking.
Ahah! Gigantic musclebound man... that made me think a scene with poor Lanyon.
The novel one was pretty self-confident with his gun in hand...but what about this Lanyon?!

Uhm, you know, I really like the way he kills glossop. It is already creative."General Glossop. I'm happy to inform you...you are relieved by your duties, ALL OF THEM!"...teehee! Anyway in the musical was barely referenced, so it is pretty easy to turn it in something very gruesome! Any suggestions?

Utterson's a peeper, and we all know! Is he a bachelor? Because if I was his wife, I'd tell him "Stop messing with that Hyde folk and come home, dinner is ready!!!"
Anyway, me and my friend have a big plan with him, even on the other story.

golddew In reply to GT18 [2009-08-14 03:51:00 +0000 UTC]

Hmm, as for Gruesome ways to have General Glossop horribly murdered... You could always have Hyde gut him and pull out his intestines in one fell swoop. It would be a challenge to draw, but totally awesome. Or he could string up Glossop upside-down from a lamppost and beat him like a great fat pinata... Mayeb he could borrow some acid from Jekyll (you never know what a scientist has in his lab) and force Glossop to drink it, or just throw it on him.
Or Hyde could kill Glossop in a predictable fashion, but leave his body in an interesting spot, like somehow fit into a war statue or impaled on the top of a fountain, so that it runs red.

There's all sorts of fun you could have with this!

I know in the book Utterson is a bachelor (though he seemed pretty close to Mr. Guest, and it makes you wonder... ~_^ ) but in the Musical, who knows? If he was, his wife would have to be very patient, or he would have to be very good at avoiding her.

Ooh, a big plan? How exciting!

GT18 In reply to golddew [2009-08-14 12:58:32 +0000 UTC]

Wow, Sadistic! Well, those are cool ideas, (Acid one...MUAHAHAH!!! I feel bad for him) I will bear these in mind. I always liked that "Eat the baton" death, and also "Flaming Bishop" as well.
Someone should write "1000 ways to kill Generals"

Now I just have to think about what Glossop gonna do to lure Hyde's hatred on his persona.
If no one breaks his balls in some way, he won't really have a reason to brutally kill someone...too bad that everyone seems to enjoy irritating Hyde, which is not a good idea.
Musical Hyde was pissed with all of the generals for Jekyll's plea rejected?, or at least it looked so...
I think I just had an idea *__*

Well, the following story will be pretty different...mostly a totally different world,in any case, put Utterson is an odd, but funny idea. We will see.

golddew In reply to GT18 [2009-08-14 22:11:25 +0000 UTC]

Hehe, I've always had a rather dark mind. Well, those aren't as sadistic as some of my other ideas, but I had to rule out a lot taking Hyde's style into account. He's not really delicate enough to do something like cut off Glossop's eyelids or carve words into his gum tissue.

You could always have Hyde do both! He could light Glossop on fire and then force-feed him the walking stick when he's just barely on the brink of death.

Now I feel a great urge to make up a list of "100 ways to kill General Glossop", with illustrations.

As for what Glossop could do to, as you so aptly put it, "break his balls", it could be that Glossop is also part of the scene in which Hyde barrels over the little girl. I think it would fit in nicely - Glossop would act all pompous and superior and demand Hyde hand over a hundred pounds and try to threaten him, and then Hyde would make his break and escape the crowd, to plan his sweet vengeance on Glossop for later.

Or you could work Hyde's child-like side into it - maybe Hyde catches Glossop, drunk and either molesting or beating a child, (or both) and Hyde decides to go brutally murder him. Then you could expand on the event, and maybe the child connects to Hyde, and Hyde helps them find a decent place to live (maybe ask Lucy to hide him away in the brothel? They could form a sort of odd, screwed-up family together).
Hmmm, I might just have to play with this one myself.

A different world, eh? As in ... A different planet?!? I don't think anybody's done "Jekyll and Hyde in Space" before!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GT18 In reply to golddew [2009-08-14 22:27:47 +0000 UTC]

I will think about a "good" way to end. There is a whole world of possibilities.

I'd rather exclude the child and molester Glossop. Though is a cool scene, and might work for a work of someone else ;D
Let's just say that Glossop is going to search for Hyde, because he's strangely doing his work. I will build the whole thing following this, but it will be more clear after the event.

Not a different planet at all. ^_^
Let's just say that Gabriel will be able to see the infamous "outer world" from where his friend comes from. Before his eyes, almost like a different world indeed.
But now I will spoil nothing more, and I mean it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

golddew In reply to GT18 [2009-08-15 00:26:09 +0000 UTC]

So Glossop is going to be the one who stalks Hyde instead of Utterson? Interesting!

I couldn't quite grasp what you meant about him seeing the "outer world" - do you mean Utterson will start to notice the dark, criminal and corrupt parts of society, or something like that? No matter, it sounds interesting and mysterious already. ^^ Can't wait to see it!
