So, I adore Rewind by WishingStarInAJar He's so adorable and it kinda hurts that he doesn't like humans, but then again, most Sanses wouldn't like Jewel once they knew about her, really.

Jewel keeps to herself, mostly out in the code, or a little bubble of it that's safer. That's when Rewind shows up, accidentally. He didn't mean to come into her space, but his portal closed before he could realize just how bad it was. So now, he's stuck. Jewel could teleport him back wherever he wanted to go, being an AU hopper herself, but that would require touching her and trusting that she would actually help him. So Rewind opts to wait the hour for his scissors to recharge. Which... is going to be a long, long hour.

Jewel's not used to having company and kind of indulges in her weakness for speech with another living being. Which sometimes includes bribing people with food so they're less cranky. Universal tactic, that is. Everyone likes food.
