Shaggy rubbed his bald head with his fingers. "Like, you're trying to tell me that we're not a bunch of kids looking for mysteries and stuff?"
"No."
"And like I don't run around with a talking dog? And we didn't capture the swamp monster, only to pull its mask off and find out that it was Mr. Johnson?"
"No."
"And there's no such thing as a Scooby Snack?"
Morpheus thought of a way to let him down gently, but couldn't find one. "Uh, no."
Shaggy collapsed and began to wail.

This idea hit me the other day, of combining Scooby Doo with the Matrix; I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. Just another gratuitous excuse to mix cartoon universes. The background was a picture that I shot up in Federal Plaza in Chicago in 1991.

"Like, is this the Matrix?"
"No...this is merely a training program." Suddenly Morpheus got serious. "Were you paying attention to me, or were you looking at the hot dog vendor? Look again..."

I own none of these characters.
