Description
This is just something I did over two days ,between other pieces I,m working on.Here I,ve used everything.......polychrome pencils, inks, aero color, water color, aibrush and normal paintbrush, also soft and hard erasers, and knife.
size 30x30cms, britol airbrush carton 3mm. thick
No matter what I paint or draw ,at least a couple of times a year I find myself drawn back to these magnificent animals, to me Horse,s and Tigers take some beating for graciousness and litheness,they must be two of Mother Natures best creations ( not forgetting WOMEN that is ...........sorry ladies you came third)lol

Kudos man! I am partial to tigers and can appreciate work of this quality. By the way, in case you care, the picture you used as a guide is of a tiger that lived in Bandhavgarh National Park in India. His name was Charger and he died a few years back. Well done!

I'm working on a tiger now too and I'm beginning to think I'll never finish! Oil paint takes forever to dry. Especially the black.

add little bits of terpentine to your color, it,ll dry faster but still allow you to work it.
you probably know that any way , but I haadda say somfing didn,t I lolololol

Oh, I've used turpentine. And lately I've been using this stuff called Japan Dryer. It works better than turpentine. But it's still not fast enough. Next time I decide to paint something with fur I think I'll use acrylics.

i agree with horses being beautiful i love them so much, i like the painting , colours are fantastic but i miss a bit more of hair in his head an body and also his hears the look of his face is almost perfect and so the look in the eyes. Women coming in third place? lol naahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh never.......lol

the hair seems to be missing becauseit,s laying flat, btut I think that your referring to the detail right ? if so .....I gt lazy.
