Description
well here it is , the finished piece.I used everything on this , polychromes, paint, ink, etc etc., now it,s up to you to pick it to pieces.
you,ll need the BIG screen to see the chopped off finger( if your so inclined that is)
Just like to say thanks to Sephora04 for the use of the foto.
Theres a flash reflection in the middle of the pic, it,s due to te fact that I had to spray a protection film over the painting.
( I know foto,s just aint my thing) lol

How did you finish that so fast?!!! Dammit! It would take me years to finish something like this. I think leaving the background monochromatic is a great idea. It has plenty of detail to give the viewer a sense of the surroundings yet it doesn't take away from the main subject. The dress and blanket are beautifully done! Amazing detail and color. But gunny, that finger is just plain nasty!
Great job!

You foget, that ALL I do all day is paint, and it was fridy that I put the drawing up, ( or was it thursday?? ....I dont know )lolol
I wanted to do something different , so I did the backgraound as it is, I was going to paint over it ,in full color and then thought na leave it as it is and see how it works out, if I hadn,t liked it after I would have painted over it , but it sort of looked pretty good so I left it .
hahahahaha glad you enjoyed the finger, but after writting the story when I posted the drawing , I had to put it in didn,t I? I was in two minds wether to or not , buut then decided yes because the foreground was a little empty withouth the cutting log and the finger.
thank for your comments, you always seem to to see what others dont , and it,s that ,which I appreciate.
take care, stay lucky . Gunny
Now get back to Y-O-U-R drawing board. lol
