Great work as always my friend! This is really a lovely image.

For some reason this reminds me of a Playboy shot. lol. It's the way its bright and sunny. Magical almost. I like the way the skin is reflecting the light on the outside edges of her body.....and what a body...koff. lol
I really like the pose, it is like she is absorbing the sunlight, breathing it in, basking in all her glory. he he he.

Oh the background is really well painted...not that I'm paying much attention to the background, if you know what I mean. Same applies to the stone arch.

All the elements combine well to create one stunning work of art.

Good work Gunny. Good work.

beautiful peice. It has an awesome radiance. I like the way you described the process. Sometimes changing as you go along makes a piece more effective as opposed to making it just as planned. The focus is great. Good job on framing the figure with the darker foreground.

This is beautiful, gunny! I love the gray tones with just a hint of green. The way the light is touching her body almost makes her glow and really makes her stand out from the background. The light is like a caress against her. Very soft. And that softness separates her from the rough rubble of the background. Very beautiful piece!

it was the combination of rough and smooth that was the driving force in my minds eye when I started this , I needed to do a COMPLETE piece, ie., background , light shadow, and the central figure, at first I had it all planned different, but changed it as I went along, sort of painting with the heart instead of the eye sort of thing , or painting blind as I call it . when I eventually showed the finished piece to Hilly ( who is my best critic.........if I,m wrong ,she tells me ) and even she said it was at long last a complete piece.
And yes I,m pretty pleased with it myself. and even tho it,s another nude woman it is something diiferent in it own way.
take care Babe . and stay lucky
wish you and yours all the best.
Gunny
