watercolour on 300gsm watercolour strathmore paper, ~6h

i must say, i'm a little proud of this one. XD i still consider myself a huge noob when it comes to watercolour, and it took a huge amount of guts to really saturate the paper with water, but oh my i love the unpredictability of how paints interact with it! it never ceases to amaze me the many different effects you can achieve with when and how and how much water you use. definitely a big step away (for me, anyway) from precise pencil drawings. i enjoyed making this one a lot.

also the reference was hella cute.
